Flavors You Can Have in Hookah

by John McCree

Trying to find the suitable hookah flavor for you? This article reveals many good resources for you in determining and purchasing your ideal shisha flavor.

The flavorful tobacco, which is generally used in a hookah is commonly known as shisha. The present day shisha includes all or some of the following things:

1. Tobacco

2. Treacle (uncrystallized syrup produced in refining sugar)

3. Honey

4. Sugar

5. Molasses

6. Glycerin

7. Nicotine

8. Dried Fruit

9. Distilled Water

The hookah smokers prefer the popular fruity flavors like apple, banana or mango. But, there are a lot of new and creative flavors on the market for example Starbuzz's "Blue Mist". Many of the new flavors use a fruit flavor as the base. Flavors like Apple pie, blueberry muffin and banana split are some of the more popular ones.

There are many different shisha flavors available nowadays since it is very easy to add flavors during the manufacturing. Any ingredient can be mixed in dried tobacco in the production to create unique flavors.

Social Smoking

People normally smoke hookah in a social gathering where they can have the company of their close friends. As hookahs grew in popularity through the Middle East hundreds of years ago, it became typical to find them in eating and drinking establishments. Today, you can find hookahs even in the houses of many people.

A great deal of the growing popularity of shisha can be attributed to the flavor and soothing effect of the smoke. People smoke hookah in social gatherings with the key purpose of socializing with friends and not out of addiction. Whereas cigarettes provide more of a "quick fix" having a strong dose of nicotine and a generally unpleasant smell, a flavorful hookah session may last one hour or longer, and shisha does not have near the addictive qualities as cigarettes.

Getting the Most Flavor from Your Hookah

If you want to improve your hookah experience, then you just have to follow a few basic acts of common sense. If you are a hookah owner then you should make it a habit of cleaning your hookah regularly You should wash your hookah carefully with warm water after every use.

To have a longer and smoother smoking session, you should make sure that the charcoal does not burn up the tobacco. You can do this by maintaining some distance between the foil and tobacco. When you're packing the bowl, leave a few millimeters between the top of your tobacco and the plane created by the rim of the bowl. So that when you wrap the foil, there is distance between the tobacco and the aluminum foil. You may also place two toothpicks crossed on top of the pile to ensure space between the shisha and foil. Additionally, while "packing" the bowl, don't pack the tobacco down firmly. A loose mound of tobacco that will allow the air to pass through it is ideal. Doing this, you'll be able to get a flavorful hit without needing to strongly puff on the hose. Some people also use two sheets of aluminum foil to avoid overheating. Don't burn the shisha and you will be able to enjoy a smooth and long session of smoking.

There was a time when only one tobacco flavor was available for hookah. However, today the market offers a very wide range of flavors. If you are a hookah lover then you must try all shisha flavors available.
