Whats New On Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships

Whats New On Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships

by Marc Lindham

The Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships are owned by the United States of America and Norwegian company with its base in Florida. The company started in 1968 with its first ship launching in Norway. These days they hold over seventeen percent of the world cruise market and have twenty two ships. All their ships can be seen by the names which have the words "of the seas" at the end.

They have some of the very best ships in the market with several classes to choose from. There are six classes to choose from including Freedom, Radiance, Voyager and Sovereign. Each one offers slightly different features and itineraries to suit all customers. You will find some are more family-friendly, while others are more suited to the older market.

Each ship has a variety of bedrooms and suites to choose from. Most have outdoor views, but some are on the interior of the ship. All rooms are equipped as standard with Queen or Twin beds, TV, telephone, minibar, en-suite bathroom with bath or shower. The suites all have balconies and are much large with larger luxury bathrooms.

All ships have many things to do, all have several options for dining available throughout the day including twenty four hour room service. There are swimming pools and other physical activities to take advantage of. They have spas, shopping, libraries and many other things to occupy your time. All cruises make a various number of stops to allow passengers to discover new places. On many stops, there will be a guided tour to give you the best chance of seeing the place you disembark.

There are so many things to do aboard a ship, and in between eating and sleeping you will never be bored. However, if you feel like relaxing, there are many options for that too, with relaxing activities such as yoga classes or just lazing by the pool in the sun.

If you want to be more active, there are several things to choose from, such as mini golf, skating or climbing. There is even a Zip line for those very daring, where you can fly through the air on a wire. The pool areas are equipped for all ages with fast water rides, smaller things for little ones and sundecks for those who don't want to be splashed. Some ships also have a surf simulator.

For the evenings there are many different options including a variety of live shows to choose from. For the little ones there is the 3d cinema, play areas, carousel and arcade. For the grown ups there are the choices of several bars and the casino amongst others.

Royal Caribbean cruise liners travel to all parts of the world, but one of the most popular areas is the Mediterranean. Their popular routes go for a minimum of six nights and maximum of fourteen nights. Possible destinations are Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Corsica and Turkey. Depending on what you are looking for there is something to suit all wants. The most popular itineraries are Spain, France and Italy for six days or the East Mediterranean, which visits Greece, Turkey and Croatia. The other popular route is the West European route which visits Italy and Spain.
