When Algarve is mentioned, you automatically think of beaches marked with spots or rounded patches from sun, hidden behind mountainous or hilly sections of the country, golden-sand beaches pocked by rock formations. Algarve, deemed to be the jewel of Portugal, is famous for its sun-drenched shores. People deem Algarve as unhurried, relaxed and atmospheric, but with the regions rich Portugese culture, it invites you to extend your stay. It is some sort of a melting-pot where tourists can easily become adjusted to life, locally. Local dishes are served in restaurants that are found in abundance. But if you choose to create your own meal, there's a local produce market around, too. Whatever it is you're doing in Carvoeiro, you will find yourself hooked in the region.
