To get to the Inka site most people travel by train from the high Andes down into the cloud forest. This journey is breathtaking as you pass from glaciers to jungle in just a few hours.

Other attractions in the area include the Sacred is littered with archaeological sites. There are adventure tour companies offering rafting, climbing, hiking and paragliding. Cultural activities include museums, textiles, community visits and gastronomic tours.
