Have A Beach Vacation In One Of These Hot Spots!

One of the telltale signs of a luxurious vacation is having a tan. There are so many great beaches round the world, but these are just a few, and some of the best places for you to make your friends go "wow, you DID have a great vacation!"

Copacabana Beach, Brazil

This beach has all the trademarks of a fantastic beach, starting from the clear, sparkling water and beach sand. You get a chance to see Brazil's picturesque rolling hills in the horizon while getting a tan - indeed an experience to remember should you go here! But there is more than just tanning and picturesque landscape in Copacabana Beach - as you may notice, we haven't used the word "serene" yet. And we won't because this is quite a partying beach especially when the sun goes down!

Waikiki Beach, Oahu

This is a very popular beach among tourists. This beach measures two miles long, and you can simply sit down and watch those surfers do their thing. The beach itself is soft and sunny, as are other Hawaiian beaches. You wouldn't want to miss the evening sight as the sunset provides a romantic backdrop.

Crete, Greece

Tourists generally look at Greece as a natural paradise and a great place to go visit. As a coastal area, it has over 100 miles luxurious beaches for you to enjoy. Our five-star pick is in Rethimno, found in the Northern coast of Greece. The beach is beautiful but tends to be crowded, as it is one of the most popular spots on the island. If you are looking for a place to tan in solitude then try elsewhere, as there are plenty of small, secluded beaches scattered around Crete.

Baby Beach, Aruba

As its name implies, this is one of Aruba's softest, quietest beaches and one of the world's best beach vacations with its shallow, relaxed waters. You can put out a low beach chair for the day and just relax and read a book. This is a fantastic place for swimming, as it is for tanning (which should be your goal, natch), so if warm Arabian days and nights stroke your fancy, go get a tan while on Baby Beach!

Newport Beach, California

Speaking of the aforementioned Beach Boys, Newport Beach is pretty close to the childhood stomping ground of America's Band. This writer isn't quite sure if they name-checked this place in their songs, but that doesn't make it any less popular with vacationers worldwide. Take note though that lifeguards only work here on a seasonal basis, so keep safe!

St. John Island, Virgin Islands

St. John Island is technically a National Park. You can find this beach in the gorgeous Caribbean, though the land in here isn't quite developed as of yet. Not only are beaches like Cinnamon Bay very nice to look at, they are also quite secluded. A great vacation spot either for couples or families.
