When you think about all of the jobs there are, in the country, or world, you find some are dirty and some are just sitting at a computer screen all day. Some cause the person to get very dirty as they are cleaning things. Others will place this person on a chair at a desk or standing at a cash register. One of those jobs, of course, is as a travel agent. Many people assume all you have to do on this job would be to sit at a desk and send people to faraway places. This would not be true as most employees must go to a few of these places just so they know how and when the best trips are handled. When you work as a traveling salesmen, the trips are expressed in the name. There will be the requirement to move from city to city, state to state or across the globe. The products or services you represent will largely determine where you go and what you do, however, this, in and of itself, presents a lot of educational opportunities.

The many people who serve as roving supervisors for service companies will also qualify as this type of traveling job. Custodial cleaning companies need people to move around, checking on cleaners and help them with various tasks. Certified Public accountants spend a lot of time on the road especially if they are self employed.

You will certainly be traveling if you are a long haul trucker. You might be on the road for weeks at a time, staying in hotels and getting your breakfast lunch and dinner at different places every meal. There are many trucking companies where you can apply and, if you have experience, this could be your fun way of seeing the sights.

Retail buyers are always going to locations to search for products to sell and flight attendants help others fly safely. Traveling nurses are always on the go as they can be in many different places depending on where they are sent. Tour guides must be knowledgeable about a lot of places which means they need to go to a lot of places, before they tell others about them.

Consultants of all kinds are also on the go quite a bit. Knowing all about the latest piece of equipment or process for your industry would require trips to meet with people, or clients, that need to know about them. Being an Au Pair means going where the kids are. Photographers, writers and freelance artists need to be where they are doing their work about and that usually means a trip or two.

The amount of driving a lot of people have to do just to get to work at a desk, is not what is meant when talking about jobs requiring traveling. Many people enjoy the idea of doing this while working. They like the freedom and liberty to move about the country or world and also, in many cases, the fresh air of which that cubicle dweller does not get much.
