Mongolia is known to be one of the most exotic and most exciting countries to visit because there is rich history behind this very country. In fact, the famous world conqueror known as Genghis Khan came from this very country. So if one is interested in going to this country for a vacation, he might want to go on some <A href="http://www.nomadstours.com">Mongolian tours</A> in order to see some really great sights.

Now when one would go on tour in this country, one of the best places to visit would be Kharkhorin especially if one loves history. Now this is the capital city of the empire of famous conqueror Genghis Khan. What makes this place very interesting is that the ruins of his empire are still there for the tourists to look at and appreciate.

Now for a bit of excitement and a little Mongolian exposure, the tour bus would take the tourists to the famous Orkhon Khurkhree. This is in fact the most famous waterfall with very clean water falling from it. Now another great part about this place is that one could communicate with the natives there although they may have to be a little careful.

There would also be the vulture canyon which is the most popular land formation that is named Yolin Am. Now a lot of climbers and hikers would actually want to explore this place because it is very challenging to go through it. Now the tour guides would not allow the tour group to really trek through this land formation but they will bring them around the place so that they can see the sights.

If one is into wildlife and nature, then he will definitely enjoy going to the Bogdkhan Uul. This is a park that inhabits a lot of wild animals that hunters are not allowed to go near and a lot of trees as well as plants. Also, this place is home to the Manzshir Monastery which is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the entire country.

Of course there would be the Gandantegchilen Kloster which a lot of tourists would visit during the tour. Now this is an extremely big Buddhist Monastery that is actually probably the biggest in the entire country and can contain over a thousand monks. Even today, there are many monks who would reside in this monastery in order to pray.

History buffs will also enjoy going to the The National Museum of Mongolian History which is located in the very heart of Ulaanbaatar. If one would want to know more about the culture and history of this country, then this is the place to go. There are a lot of artifacts, paintings, and other things that have survived the times and are there for the purpose of being studied.

So basically, these are some of the interesting places that one would be visiting while on tour. As one can see, Mongolia is definitely a place like no other. It has very exotic and beautiful places that one can visit.
