Make Sure You Know What The Eldora Speedway Weather Patterns Will Be

Summers in Ohio are generally hot and humid and in winter it can get either cool or cold. Eldora speedway weather plays an important part when racing on a dirt track at very high speeds. There are websites that can give you a ten day forecast so that one will be prepared for anything.

The Big E is located in Ohio and is a half a mile clay oval and has a seating capacity of nearly 20 000. It hosts many well known races and "The World 100" attracts over 200 dirt racers. The track originally started off as a quarter mile length when it opened in the year 1954. In 1956 he expanded it to three eighth miles and again in 1958 so that it was the present half mile length. It became a very popular venue for sprint cars of the United States Auto Club.

In 2005 this series was held for the first time outside of the United States. It was held in Mexico City and was won by Martin Truex Jnr. The second one that was held was in Montreal and was won by Kevin Harvick. Three years later NASCAR announced that the series will no longer be run outside of the United States.

The Belt Package is a steel belt that is placed between the piles and the tread to ensure that a flat footprint is achieved. The inner liners provides support incase there is a puncture to the outer part. The part that gives the tire is grip is the tread compound.

For every driver that participates in the Eldora Speedway, weather plays a crucial part. Depending on what the weather will be the day of the race, which tire to be used will need to be considered. Without this prior knowledge it could mean a win or a loose.
