Bears are considered as social animals which has evolved with intelligence compare to other animals. Usually, they share security, friendship and resources. Bears are not that dangerous just like what media or Hollywood has told their audience. Usually, they exhibit predictable behaviors. These traits are beneficial to every individual who comes across with any bear.

Actually, they are present in colder countries. For this reason, viewing activities are quite popular for those countries. It becomes a recreational activity for people. Bears are sometimes considered as dangerous animals, curious and intelligent all the time. You should be neutral with their environment. There are some bears that hide when they see people coming. But, in some famous bear viewing sites, bears have learned that people are not a serious problem. Hence, they also keep on visiting year after year.

Cubs may also ask for cues from their parents. Meaning that is humans behave responsibly, every generation of the animals will also visit and return to the sites every year for a viewing opportunity. Some of them are also tolerant than others, but most of them has their personal space if threatened.

Therefore, you need to reduce the disturbance to their own habitats. People should respect their personal space and make sure that they will also experience a predictable human behavior. Select a particular viewing spot near them and let them come to you.

You have to keep in mind that surprising them is not an ideal move to make during the viewing activity, as it can also lead to accidents and problems. You also have to avoid making some noises and attracting with garbage and food. If they are near you, you should stay calm and do not run. In some cases, these animals are not considered as threats. But, they also need your respect and attention.

When you are traveling in most bear countries, you should enjoy each moment. This is only a rare opportunity, so you have to enjoy it. Female bears are also defenders on their cubs. Therefore, you should avoid getting closer, as they may only respond seriously and may threaten anyone.
