The Caribbean is known to be one of the best places to visit if one is on his vacation because this place offers some of the best tourist attractions as well as the best places for relaxation and fun. Of course before tourists would want to go on their adventures to this land, it is best to know a little bit about the place first. Just so one would know some of the geographical information, this region is a bunch of islands located somewhere near the Caribbean Sea in the center of the north and south regions of America. For those who are interested in underwater life, then they might want to visit Stingray City in Grand Cayman. As the name implies, it is a place where humans can blend in with the stingrays. Now unlike the stingrays, the sea turtles would usually be swimming underwater which means that one would actually have to go diving in order to see the turtles and commune with them. If one is more into an exciting adventure, then he may actually try going cave tubing in Belize. Belize has caves with water bodies inside of them wherein people can actually use rubber tubes to slide down the water bodies. This is definitely a very blood pumping activity that one can do.

Of course history buffs will also have a really good time because they may take a look at the historical structures of the Mayan civilization. The Mayan ruins are located at Chichen Itza and have been there for hundreds of years already. These structures are a wonder of architecture and are known to be wonders that people marvel over.

For those who would want really blood pumping and exhilarating activities, then they may actually try the zip line. This is a harness wherein one would be gliding hundreds of feet above a rain forest and even a beach. This is definitely a ride for travelers who would want a thrill.

After all the fun and adventures, there are those who would just want to relax and enjoy the city or go shopping for gifts to bring back to loved ones. If one would want to do that, then he should visit the town of Old San Juan. This town is known for its rich Spanish heritage which results in quaint little houses and stores and is also known for its very interesting shopping district.
